OUR ACCOUNTING FAMILY

Dean grew up in Mayerthorpe. After graduating from NAIT with Honours in Business

Administration he articled at KPMG in Edmonton. KPMG is one of the "Big 4" international

accounting firms. After KPMG he worked as a divisional controller for a national equipment

rental company before moving back to Mayerthorpe in 1992. He has been an accountant

for over 30 years, specializing in farm and small business taxes.

Dean is married to Jennifer, who also works at Hendrickson Black. They have two daughters that are very active in sports, keeping them busy year-round. They live on an acreage near Whitecourt with lots of dogs, cats and horses. The family enjoys travelling, showing horses, kayaking, hiking and camping. He splits his time between the Mayerthorpe and Whitecourt offices of Hendrickson Black LLP.
